There are two kinds of templates in OrangeCD Catalog.
- HTML export templates are used to format the pages
when you are exporting your collection to HTML, so you can quickly create nice looking pages
that blend into design of your web site with minimum efforts.
- Themes are used to format and display content in the
main program window. This includes start page, album and track displays, and statistics.
How to use HTML export templates:
To use the templates, click on the download link in the table
below. Soon after the download starts, your web browser will display a prompt box asking
how to use the file. Press Open button to add the template to the list of templates available
in OrangeCD Catalog. Now, when you start OrangeCD Catalog and use Export HTML feature, the new
template will show up in the list.
Different people have different tastes. That is why many HTML export
templates allow additional customizations of fonts, colors and displayed fields, so you don't
have to stick to the colors and fonts provided by the template creator.
How to use themes:
To use the themes, click on the download link in the table below. Soon after the download starts, your web browser will display a prompt box asking how to use the file. Press Open button to add the theme to the list of themes available in OrangeCD Catalog. Now, when you start OrangeCD Catalog, you can select a new theme by right-clicking main display and choosing Customize View from the context menu. Just like templates, some themes allow additional customizations of fonts, colors and displayed fields.
