Default Bulk editing for tracks still missing! [FIXED]

    Andrei,

Any news yet on bulk editing for tracks? As has been said MANY times in these forums, this would be an incredibly practical and useful feature!

It means that you can isolate indiidual tracks - either from the same album or different ones - and bulk edit particular fields. For instance, many remastered albums have bonus live tracks. With this feature, you can now identify them as 'live' all at once, rather than having to do each one - laboriously - individually. I'm sure there are better examples, but that is what I have just done!

okay. So, how do you go about isolating tracks for this procedure?

If you are in track view in the right pane you can select any combination of tracks by left clicking + Control or Shift button. The selected tracks turn blue. If you write click on one of the selected tracks and click Properties in that menu you can apply any editing you do to all selected tracks.

This is very useful to me with classical discs where, for instance, the CD contains two four movement works with different soloists.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to try that sometime.

I want to add my thanks to Andrei for this. This has made editing musicians and composers so much easier.
