If you have the Browse by (the left frame) set to Composers it will list all composers, whether entered in the composer field on the general tab of the album properties in the classical layout or entered in the composer field of the general tab in track properties. What I do when there are several composers on an album is leave the composer field blank on the album properties and just use the composer field on track properties. A problem only arises when there are also multiple artists as both the artist and composer fields cannot be blank on album properties. In that case I use Various artists and leave composer blank. I do not see the need for separate album entries for each composer.

The two attachments show how a single album entry shows up under both Borodin and Smetana, the two composers on the cd.
