====== Moving MP3 collection to a different drive or folder ====== OrangeCD Catalog maintains links to your media files and folders internally in the database. When your media file collection is moved to a different drive or folder, these links can be broken. As a result, certain OrangeCD features may become disabled or inaccessible. For example, media playback will no longer be available if media files are moved to a different location. To fix media file links in OrangeCD database, follow these steps __after__ you moved the media files to a new location: - click menu **Navigate** -> **Entire collection**. - press **Ctrl+A** to select all albums. - right click the selection and select **Rescan**. - select the option titled **Just update the file names, sizes, times and bitrates**.\\ //IMPORTANT: Do not select **Reload all data from media files** option because it may result in overwriting data previously entered for the albums.// - press **Scan** button. OrangeCD will then begin rescanning media albums. When it reaches the first album that was moved, it will prompt the user for a new album location, using the first track of the album as a reference point. Provide a new location of the file to continue. The remaining tracks and albums will be processed automatically.
