I recall meeting the same problem some years back! I find that if I enter 2:34 as 02:34 (rather than just 2:34) it works fine. Obviously the problem never arises with double-digit minutes!

Try Advanced Search then define your format. In the Results pane, highlight all. Total time and size appears at bottom.

If you want all the /composer details removed, just go to Track Properties. Under the General tab, you'll see that info displayed. Just delete it for each track. That's how I do it.

Can't you duplicate the album entry? The dupe will be unlocked, then keep it as the original.

In that case, why not copy your m3u file into the folder on your hard drive where the box set is, then re-scan. It should show as an extra track...
