The problem with Amazon access is now fixed worldwide.
Software update is not necessary - current version should already have access to Amazon UK, Germany, France, Canada, etc.

This is a different issue - it is a connection error. It should not be permanent. Just try again later.

Looks like US Amazon is not affected by the issue, but all other countries are. You can switch to US Amazon server in settings as a temporary workaround while I'm sorting this...
Strange thing happened; I can no longer reproduce Amazon problem. All queries work fine currently. The problem was definitely there a week ago. Can someone check their software and see if the problem...

Also, do not trust Windows search as it's notoriously inaccurate. Try this instead:
Start Command Prompt on your Windows machine where you had backup.
Type commands:
c:
cd \
dir /s *.obk...
Try switching to a different FreeDB server in settings (Internet tab). They should work. Default server is temporarily offline.

There is no easy fix, unfortunately. Windows XP lacks a critical component required to access Discogs these days. TagScanner is probably using a third-party networking solution.

Can you post a session log for "Bad HTTP" error? This is suspicious and should not happen in latest version. (I assume you're using latest version of OrangeCD.)
