I just tried the new update and received message, "not a valid win 32 application" and yes, I am still using XP on the computer that I run orange CD from.
You can do that currently (sort of). Start with the main "Browse by:" that you want to use. I use "Artist (no compilations)." Then pull the menu you down to "more views." Add "year" to your choice...
OCD will give you totals or at least mine will. First, select your entire collection in table view (or whatever albums you have entered values for). Then highlight (select) the ones you want the...
I just replaced a large graphic for an album with a smaller version. The number of files in the "cover" folder remained the same. It would appear to overwrite the older file.
If you open the database, then pull down under file to "restore from backup," you should be able to restore. The .obk will be recognized as a backup file then.
Same here, it has never retained any entries and I've used it for years. I guess I never gave it a second thought before…
This would seem to make a lot of sense to me as well. It probably works (as is) for classical entries better than most anything else.
My previous post mistakenly assumed you were using Norton Antivirus which I use at home where I have Orange CD.
My office computer uses Symantec Corporate which I believe is the product that...
Open Norton Antivirus, then COMPUTRER > Settings
Go to Exclusions > Scan exclusions > configure
Under REAL TIME PROTECTION EXCLUSIONS add your database (all .DAB files)
save and exit
Hope this...
Try browsing by: Artist (no compilations)
Have you upgraded to the November 4 release?
Look at the thread "Cover art not displaying?"
I am using ODB, sorry that I failed to mention it
I've had the same problem so I tried just waiting to see if the problem was updating in Racks & Tags. After 24 hours, the art still didn't appear. Then I exported the picture from ODB, opened it in...
If you add web links to your albums, they should show on Racks and Tags as bookmarks after you upload.
When you fill in the format field in Orange, they should show in Racks and Tags (after...
Andrei,
Thanks for the reply.
After using Orange CD for several years, I think the "custom data base" for "roles" would suit be best.
The delete button works OK especially now that...
I agree with your post and quite often I end up with "Bass Clarinet" when "Bass" was intended. A minor quirk I suppose.
What would be a nice addition, if possible, would be a provision to edit the...
Go to the main page for firetongue www.firetongue.com
Select products
Scroll down to the entry for November 1, 2008
Select the highlighted text
Run or save the file
"I'm Playing this now" will...
Updates work for played and rated but not added albums. Hasn't since Sunday, at least for me…
Go to your page on Racks and Tags, select SETINGS, then PASSWORD and there is a DELETE account link which will allow you to delete what is currently online without deleting your account.
Andrei,
The test build seems to have fixed my timeout problem. A couple of minutes ago, I uploaded my data successfully for the first time without a timeout since July, 2007. Thanks for sticking...
I have just started to work my first multi disc volume in OCD :-)
I was just playing around to see how I should put in different line-ups for different volumes/discs. After some trial and error I...
As of today, I still receive timeouts and album covers that are not part of the original scan do not load.
I just tried a few uploads and I'm still getting time outs. The only items that do not upload (as far as I can tell) are album covers. There also seems to be some correlation between covers that I...
I'm not able to get "last played" to show when just playing with Windows Media Player. How do you do that? I just tried with a CD that had no data in CD Orange DB and no time would spprar until I...
