It sounds like all your dropdown presets have gone mising, If you right-click anywhere in the content tree a pop-up box will appear. If you select "Customise View...", and then select the "Drop-down...

OK to expand on my point. I use OCD to catalogue my CDs. To catalogue my DVDs I use Intervocative Software's DVD Profiler. Both make extensive use of online databases...(FreedB for OCD...

ah, but is this a "CD + DVD" combo or a "DVD + CD" combo?

I actually have both of the above, and even some "CD + CD-ROM" selections.

Main db = 33.3 MB, backup = 47.3 MB and still going strong... ;D ;D

I assume the backup is larger because it contains all the covers?

this "feature" occurs often for CDs/tracks owned by my teenage daughters!

I know that V6.0.1 would not work properly with freedb and Andrei rushed out v6.0.2 in double-quick time , which corrected the problem.

Maybe, it's time to upgrade!

There's a thread about "Connecting to freedb2" lower down the General Support page (around 5th October) which may offer some clues. Are you using version 6.0.2?
