Correct - SONY is a company that owns many labels. I would think that reissues should list the issue you own. In some instances, I've put info regarding the original issue in the notes - in my case...
Great - thanks, Andrei
Joebugs - thanks. Let me be a little more clear with my question. Will the "group title" field appear in tracks view, next to the track field? If not, I may not make use of this feature. If it does,...
Thanks for letting me know. I really like this feature, as it will work well for classical pieces that are often in multiple movements. I'm a little hesitant to go whole hog with its use, though....
Interesting. This would be nice for classical for sure. What if you performed a search for all works by Bartok would it turn up
Dance Suite - Allegro molto?
or just
Allegro molto?
No, Bach and Beethoven, didn't make that many recordings, but many conductors and orchestras have made many recordings of Bach and Beethoven's music. With an orchestral piece, I enter the conductor...
Earlier, MyGenres treated Composers as Artists when searching for albums. Has something changed? I search for say, Mahler, and it appears in the drop down, but it doesn't return anything. It says...
This information can be added/modified in the Track Properties window under the Recording tab. Each track can have a different Venue, Studio, Recording Date, etc. Does this help? :)
Yes. Thank you Andrei, this is exactly what I was looking for. Please add to future releases. ;D
All are checked, but Custom Fields still do not appear in Track View. Anyone out there have any ideas??? I know someone out there knows the answer!
Thanks Wadson ... I'll check that out when I get home this evening.
Hi,
How do you make the Customer fields appear in Track View? I see the Custom fileds in Album View, but I don't see an option to make them appear in Track View.
Thanks,
Rob :D
Gee ... thanks. That was quick! :D
When a CD has multiple recording venues and multiple recording dates the album pages shows as follows:
Recorded at (various) ((various), (various))
This makes sense, but when you go to the...
Yes ... this was on my wishlist for the same reason. How does one access the Composer Profile, though? Do we need to wait for the themes to be updated? Or, am I overlooking something?
Okaaaay. I see what you mean, but that is not what I'm referring to. Let me explain a little further.
In Record Properties, Classical Layout, General tab, the uppermost field is Composer. All my...
Thanks for the reply Joe . :).. but I'm not following you. I can switch to the Classical Layout in the Record Properties window. I don't see a "more" button on the bottom of this window. ??? What am...
Strange ... the composer field on 6.0 Classical Layout is depopulated of the compsers I put in, i.e, they are all blank.
From "View - Preferences - Theme" I checked "Show custom fields." The custom fields appear on the Album page, but do not appear on the Track page. Help!
This is the 6.0 Beta I am refering to. Is...
Thanks Andrei :)
I'd like to add to this ... when I add a classical CD, I make the conductor the artist. This is nice because I can create an Artist Profile for the conductor.
I would find it beneficial to be able...
I created a Custom Page that I titled "Classical." Fields include "Country of Origin," "Period," "Form," "Written," and "Note."
The "Written" field is set up as a date. This date field does not...
Most of my collection consists of Motion Picture soundtracks and classical music. The focus is on the composer first, then the artist. It would be nice to have a composer dialog box similar to the...
