Thread: Track length

    Default Track length

I've just started having the problem of editing track length, I've done this countless times before. But for some reason now it will only let me edit the minutes, not the seconds. if I try to edit seconds only one digit can be changed. For instance the B side of The Police single De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da is timed at 2:34, but if I try to enter the seconds I get 2:03, I've tried a full reinstall.

I am afraid I need clarification. Here's how it's supposed to work: when I click in the "seconds" part of time box, two digits for seconds become selected. Then I type first digit, it replaces the selected digits so there's only one digit displayed in seconds box. Then I type second digit and it appears after the first digit.

At what point the behavior you see deviates from what I see?

Also, what's your Windows version? That may be a contributing factor.

I recall meeting the same problem some years back! I find that if I enter 2:34 as 02:34 (rather than just 2:34) it works fine. Obviously the problem never arises with double-digit minutes!

    Thanks for the speedy reply.
BLOWERS I tried your suggestion, it didn't work, it now seems I can only edit one digit of the minutes or seconds. If I try to enter 99 minutes 59 seconds I get 9:09 I can't seem to alter the tenths (if that makes sense) I'm struggling with ways to describe what's going on!!
Andrei it's a new laptop running Windows 8

Sorry about replying to my own post.
Tried running the compatibility function (Windows 7) I can now get it to show 11:11 but if I try to enter something like 22:22 I get 2:02
    I'm totally baffled.
