I think it's an easy task if you do the following:
1st mark the album you want to duplicate
2nd click in the menue bar on "Tools" - search for "Duplicate album" and click it
3rd you are gettin the same album entry but now with "(1)" at the end
4th you can edit the duplicated album as you wish ...
