    Default Exit for new CD

Not a bug.. just an annoying problem

In my laptop I have an analog CD player .. (i know.. it is old) and that gives a problem .. everytime I switch CD I have to restart the player.. It doesn't recognize the new cd .. or any cd for that matter. This doesn't happen with Windows Media Player for instance .. but the added value of OrangeCD is much greater..

Any suggestions for this would be very appreciated

    Hi,

What operating system are you running?
Did you try installing fresher drivers and service packs?

I know that problem exists for some CD-ROM drives, but never was able to reproduce it on my computer... So there is no fix for it (sigh...).

If you want to play with it .. here is osme info about my system

    Computer: Compaq Armada 7800
    OS: Windows XP Home Edition
    CDRom: Compaq CRD-S311

There is not a single program that provides a digital connection to this CD player.. it is all analog. Also, when I connect my portable CDR to the USB ports it all works fine. This stuff is just way to old to even bother with it..

I've got the same problem here. When I change the CD, it isn't recognized by the OrangeCD-Player. I have to exit the player before I insert a new cd.

And that's quite annoying as I've recently registered und now I have to catalog more than 1000 CDs.

I'm using Windows XP Pro and the drive is a Memorexx DVD-ROM.
