FYI: Tag&Rename updated their software to map "Label" to ORGANIZATION, instead of LABEL.
Apparently, dbPoweramp and Mp3Tag use ORGANIZATION as well.
So when importing into OrangeCD, the fields are...
Dedicated Fields:
1.) Matrix
2.) SID Mastering Code
3.) SID Mould Code
4.) DADC Code
Dedicated Columns:
1.) Country
When you create a custom field for Matrix info, choose Memo and not Textbox.
Then you will have no dropdown menu.
Nevermind, made my own.
Still seems weird that this was not included in the first place...
What is the reason for no "Country" column?
Was this overlooked?
Hallelujah! This finally works! THANK YOU, ANDREI!! ;D ;D ;D
Coolness! Happy to hear it. Thanks!
Nope, the problem is not with me.
The other schemes function normally but
Artist (Year) Album is definitely backwards...
Something is wrong:
the new scheme Artist (Year) Album
is scanning in as Album (Year) Artist :(
Maybe there is something wrong on my end...?
I guess the scheme didn't make it into the newest version?... :'(
Do you know when it may be added?
Thanks!
YES! It would be great if you could add it as one of the predefined schemes. Thanks so much.
Cheers!
In the "Use folder naming rules:" drop-down menu,
will Autodetect detect this scheme?:
Artist (Year) Album
Or is it possible to create custom rules?
My scheme isn't in the list...
Thanks.
Related suggestion:
Artist Profile/Display settings do not import/export... :'(
It would be nice if they did.
Not feesable to have to set these all over again for hundreds of artists...
Just realized a workaround:
Export old database to html... then I can SEE what is FLAC and what is CDR in the browser while OCD is displaying a different database.
Still... would be nice to not...
1.) In the "Import from OrangeCD" window, a FORMAT column is desperately needed, or else the columns need to be customizable.
I have a database with a mix of formats. I want each format to have it's...
May I suggest a Tools menu option called "Find Duplicate Titles"?
Unless I'm missing something, OCD doesn't warn of a duplicate when scanning for media files (FLAC in my case), only when adding a CD.
For no B.S. collectors comes QuidTable, a simple table that includes:
ARTIST
YEAR
TITLE
FORMAT
LOCATION
Sorted with:
Don't scan that folder... ;D
If I'm not mistaken, that's a hidden Recycle Bin folder.
Have you rebooted?
That should clear it out.
Also, it sounds like you're scanning your whole PC.
Try only...
Stick this in C:\Program Files\OrangeCD\Templates:
http://rapidshare.com/files/20863740/QuidTable.dax.html
This should do the trick. If not, edit with notepad.
Since you can choose "Format", why have separate databases?
1. As of the new version, has this list been expanded on?:
TITLE -> Track Title
ALBUM -> Album Title
TRACKNUMBER -> only used for arranging tracks in correct order
ARTIST -> Artist
DESCRIPTION...
On second thought, "Notes" -> "Reference #" is a bad idea. ::)
For now, I'm moving data from "Label" to "Reference #" with the Tools/Advanced menu until that glorious day when any FLAC tag...
Now all we need is
CATALOG # -> Reference #
or even
ANYTHING -> Reference #
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
...and where OCD puts them! ;)
Thanx. 8)
"Year" is working perfectly! YAY! ;D AWESOME!
And "Composer" & "Label" work now as well! 8)
Also, it looks like "Comment" in FLAC is "Notes" in OCD...
Now is there any way you can add "Notes" to...
