just to make sure: did you by any chance move your database file to another directory?

there's no any special trick. you just have to choose "Artist - No Track" option from the combo box in tree view on the left panel. that's it.

in artsit properties (right-click) there's a menu called something like "alternative name" or "sorting name" or something like that. you can put any name you want. though the artist name will show...
