Before I register and start to catalog my 450 cd's .... Is there a way to search the whole database for a song title? In other words can I search for say any song title that has the word "nasty" in them?
There are two ways to find albums with specific song: a simple way and a precise way.
Simple way is via menu Album - Find Text. Type the song title in the space provided and make sure "All Fields" option is selected. Click Find.
Note that using this method, OrangeCD will look for the string you have entered in all fields, not just in song titles.
Precise way is via menu Album - Advanced Search. In the drop-down boxes at the bottom of the window, select "Track Title", "Contains", and type in the song title in the third one. Click Add To List button. Then click Search to finish.
That's what I wanted to make sure it did - Thanks, here comes my $20.
P.S. Now let's see how long it takes to load my other 447 CD's into the catalog. Thank god for cable modem!
