Sort in columns

I've setup the number column (from the release information box) as a way of catalogging my collection. What I need to do is to sort the number column easily in the complete album list. If I now enter 1,2,3,4...12; I get a very odd sort (i.e. 1,11,2,22, etc). I know if I enter them as 0001, 0002, 00003, I can get the sort I want, but this seems like a lot of extra work.

Is there an easy way around this or is there an easy way to create a catlog number that I can sort my entire list with?

Hi Taper,

this looks like the fundamental problem with our sorting. I don't think there is a workaround except adding leading zero to the numbers. Since I am doing some sorting work in 4.3, I will add the fix for this issue as well.
