Crash on "o" with a slash through it

I find OrangeCD crashes when scanning through media files if there is a o w/a slash, the Scandinavian letter:

Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a workaround?

Does this happen if you set the Character set to Western European?

View -> Preferences -> Database -> Language / Default Character Set
