I have already gone through the horror of losing all of data once before and I'm going through the long process of backing up my CD's again. I want to now make a backup copy of my database to an external hard drive, but every time I try to do so, I get an error message telling me I need admin permission to backup to the external hard drive. I have no idea how to het this permission or how to otherwise backup to this location. It keeps wanting to back it up to my computers hard drive and I dont want that. I want it in a whole other physical location. How do I gg about doing this so I avoid another disaster like the one I went through recently??
