Player not playing - Vista 64

I have just installed orange suite. The cataloging is great.
I tried playing a song with the default player and it shows as a CD with traditional 'cant play' red circle/line.

I then tried changing to m3u from view/pref/media. But the play continues to come up asking me if i want it to be my default.

I can't seem to play either way. Sure there is something i missed in my setup.

No ideas on why the player wouldn't be working OR why i can't assign to winamp ?

After several days of not being on the computer .. actually turned off .. it now launches winamp correctly.
