My wife has just lobbed her old company iPAQ in my direction, so I've been playing around with it for the last few days.

Now, I use OCD to catalogue my CDs & Invelos' DVD Profiler to catalogue my DVDs. I consider both to be "Best In Class" for their respective databases.

One aspect to DVDP, is that there is a version that runs on a "Pocket PC",

If you've got online access with your iPaq you could use MyGenres...

True, but if I'm online, then I'm most likely sat at a "proper"

Andrei,

I'm not sure if you've seen this suggestion. But it is such a good one that I'd like to second it!!

I don't have a pocket pc, but it would be so useful to be able to run OrangeCD directly from either a portable hard drive or (better still) a USB micro drive.

I have recently found myself working in an environment where not only am I traveling quite often, but also actually in our office I can end up working on any one of over a dozen pcs in addition to the two desktop pcs and laptop that I use at home. It would be great to be able to take my database with me and use it wherever I go. For obvious reasons my employers would rather I didn't load my own software onto their systems!!

Cheers,

David
