What benefit is XML export?

I guess someone will need to educate me (again!), but what can exporting to XML allow me to do? I confess I don't really know what XML is!

Indeed, XML export as such offers no benefit if you are not a developer. But it does not mean it is worthless for all other people...

XML export is in fact a by-product of another big "feature" that we are working on and that will appear in beta this Christmas season. Watch for website announcements :)
