Using trial and have questions

I have started using the trial and am very impressed but have a number of questions
1 is there is a manual with this software as it looks a little complicated to learn by trial and error
2 Can I change the informatiom downloaded from the internet (Eg if I dont require the notes can I chose not to download them)
3 How can I download the lyrics. Some of the sample database show these but as yet I haven't been able to download any.
