Thread: Duplicate entries via Scan Media Files

Default Duplicate entries via Scan Media Files

I've noticed in the last beta or two that performing a Scan Media Files adds duplicates. It is not clear to me why some albums are being duplicated, but have noticed that the formatting is just slightly different on some entires.

Has this bug been reported or observered by anyone else? Any remedies?

'Scan media files' is not a feature I normally use, but I tried it with the 8810 build and got absolutely no duplicates.

When you meet with Duplicate files you can identify and remove them using Dupe Checker PRO. That's good program with user friendly interface. You can find it here: http://www.atory.com/download/dupe_checker_pro.exe
