Default Total Number of Tracks

Hello

I have been busy scanning my CDs (about 200 more to go).

I would like to make another suggestion -- if it is not a big problem.

Is it possible to have in the Database stats in the start page THE TOTAL NUMBER OF TRACKS IN THE DATABASE under the File size and the Total Number of Disks.

Regards

JB

Take a look at the CrispPlay theme at http://ocd.juventas.net/home/index.asp. It lists:

# albums
# disks
# sets
# tracks
# artists
total playing time
average album length
average track length
average track/album length
database size
last backup date

If you don't want to use the CrispPlay theme, but only want to get the total number of tracks, take a look at the theme (Crisp_Play.dax) using DAXEXIT.EXE. Locate the 'trackTotal' variable. It may give you an idea of how to implement track totals in your current theme.

Paul,

Thanks for your feedback.

I downloaded the CRISP_Play theme. It has all the Stats I wanted. Thanks. I will use this theme as I am not very good with programming.

Total play time -- I am not sure if this is correct. It is showing
34:09:51:42!!!! I have over 800 CDs scanned.

Hi

That should be correct. I have some 850 CDs and my total is 36:17:37:29.

Note that the format here is dd:hh:mm:ss. So your collection will run for 34 days, 9 hours, 51 minutes and 42 seconds....
