How does OrangeCd link to media on a HD, are the links relative or absolute.

The hard drive links are absolute, but they can be easily repointed to other drive or directory if there is a need.

CD or DVD links are relative to the root directory of the CD/DVD drive.

    Andrei,

You mentioned that the HD links can easily be repointed to another drive. How would a person go about doing this? i recently moved my entire collection to a new larger drive and of course, all the links are down.

    Thanks,

    Marty

I asked this question for just this reason, I do not know how to move my media correctly either ??

The links are absolute I believe as I changed the drive letter from D: to F: and changed the catalog entries by using an hexeditor to amend all D:'s to F:'s. To change the directory structure perhaps you could end up with a directory string of the same length to replace ie C:\xxx\xxxx could be changed to D:\xxxxx\xx.
