How are you adding things?
When I pulled stuff in from Amazon it would do that. But when I scanned the CD drive it kept the actual discs separate. Haven't tried it with adding by UPC or scanning...

When I sort the left hand pane by Artist (as opposed to Artist (No compilations)) it shows that album under any artist who has a track on the CD.

This is something I am looking into as well. I'm currently working on combining the two.
If I can do it will be part of my decision to buy this or not.
