Search - don't clear fields

I'd like to see an option so that changing the 'Field' doesn't clear the 'Condition' or the 'Value' and so that changing 'Condition' doesn't clear the Value.

There may be some cases where Condition must change, as for example if the Field selected is a checkbox, but wherever possible, I'd like to be able to change these dropdowns without having to retype my search value. Sometimes it's helpful to broaden/narrow a search.

A checkbox somewhere would be my preferred choice.
