OrangeCD closes in seconds

I'm trying OrangeCd. So far I'm not a happy camper :(.

I try opening it and dadbapp.exe shows up in Task Manager for about 7 seconds and then closes. That's it. Nothing else happens.

I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit fully patched.

After browsing these forums I've already tried ...
1. Disabling all IE add-ins
2. Adding the database folder and the database itself (C:\Users\Brian\Music\Sample Database.dab) to NIS 2010 Scan Excluses and Real Time Protection Exclusions
3. Completely turned off NIS 2010 (as much as it allows at least)
4. Ran OrangeCD as Administrator
5. Ran OrangeCD in compatibility mode for XP SP3 and Vista

What else can I try before giving up and finding a competitor?
