Copying database feature request...

I'd like to request two augmentations to the Database/Manage Database/Copy function. First, it would be nice if one could specify a name for the destination database. As of now, it is always the same as the name of the source database. Second, it would be nice if one could select a subset of albums to be copied, as one can now do when importing from a database. This would ease the process of sharing albums between databases, something my brother and I occasionally do.

You already can achieve both tasks, although indirectly.

1) First copy, then open and rename your database. Rename option is in the same submenu as Copy option.

2) You can create new empty database and import selected entries into it using Database -> Import and Export -> Import from OrangeCD database. Select original database as source.
