Web links and "Various Artists"

I've discovered that assigning web links to albums with "Various artists" makes little sense, because they will appear for all albums where the Artist field is set to "Various artists".

The web links in OCD are obviously linked to the artist and not to the album. That makes sense for named artists, but not for an album with a mix of artists.

I think it would be better if the user could choose whether the web link should be linked to the artist or to the album.

For albums with "Various artists", the default should probably be "link to album". For all other albums it could be an open choice: "link to album", "link to artist" (or both!)

There's another annoying problem with web links. If you change the artist's name after entering a web link, the web link "disappears". It's obviously still linked to the previous artist name, because if you change the artist name back again, the web link reappears.

It would be nice if OCD prompted the user in such cases: "Do you want to link the web sites to the new name?"

If OCD also allows linking of web sites to albums, a similar prompt could appear if the user changes the album title.

On a similar note, it would also be really nice if you could make links open in the users default browser instead of opening them strictly in IE. This way people who use Mozilla or Opera can open the links in with their browser of choice.
