I use dbPoweramp to rip CD's, and use OrangeCD to catalog both my CD's and my FLAC's. In dbPowerAmp there is a $5 option to use All Media Guide as the data source instead of freedb. I have currently had difficulties with freedb for several days now (have changed to using http://freedb2.org/~cddb/cddb.cgi in the interim) and it got me to thinking how nice AMG is for ripping. Very complete data and clean. Just a thought.

Just a thought. | I seem to remember that at one time OrangeCD DID use Allmusic, but Andri got one of their threatening letters and they DO sue. Maybe I remember incorectly, but I have another program that DOES use Allmusic by way of an unofficial, "unauthorized" and hard to find script. Maybe that can be done with OrangeCD but Andri wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole even if it had a rubber on it. Allmusic's fees START at $50,000 and when they find someone linking to them without payment they go ballistic.
