Entering CD Info Into a Sony M555es CD Changer

Hi All,
I am very confused and hoping someone can help me.
I was recently fortunate enough to find a new [but old] Sony M555ES changer to help me get rid of all my CD cases while in the sloooow process of digitizing my music.
I would love to be able to load all the CD information to the changer via my computer using CDDB or any thing like that. I have seen some products on ebay like Slink-E and Escient products and my brain is exploding. I know I can connect a regular keyboard and type everything in but that seems so low-tech and a lot of work. Worse, if the memory on the changer ever takes a break, all info is lost.
Using SqueezeCenter or EAC or OrangeCD, all of which I have and use thanks to this forum, can I accomplish my goal of automating data entry into the CD changer by having the computer look up the CD info and transferring it to the changer without purchasing an ancient Slink-E or anything else?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
