Data CD's not being seen by Windows

When I put a data CD into the drive, OrangeCD notes that it is a data CD by changing the icon in the systray, but for some reason when I double click on the drive in My Computer, it says please insert CD. No matter what I do, Windows has decided that there is no CD in the drive. The only way to get windows to accept the fact, is to exit OrangeCD. Immediately windows "notices" the CD in the drive and allows me to open it. If I restart OrangeCD and try and access the drive again, with the same or different data CD's, I get the same problem. This is something that was not an issue before I installed OrangeCD, and if I uninstall it, is not an issue any more. If there is any more info that is required, please let me know and I'll do my best to supply it. I'm running windows 2000, latest service pack. Cheers, Lee

Lee, Try checking "Release device when idle" option in player's Preferences. This should help sharing data CDs between OrangeCD and other applications. Andrei
