Auto Numbering

When I add MP3's to my database, it will not automatically add reference numbers to them, even though I have that option checked in preferences. How do I get OrangeCD to recognize the MP3 albums for this?

Current versions don't automatically assign Reference numbers to albums added using "Scan Media Files" command.

Next version 6.2 will have this ability. In the meantime, you can do it manually after each scan. When scan is complete and you see all new entries, click menu Tools -> Renumber and click "Entire list" option. The remaining parameters can be left default.

Again, next version 6.2 will automatically number MP3 albums.
