View Full Version : Rejected freedb submission

Hi,

I'm going through the tedious process of ripping my collection and cataloging with Orange at the same time. I'm using EAC to rip and Orange to catalogue (of course).

Sometimes I make additions or corrections in Orange and wait until the changes take in freedb so I can download in EAC and rip with correct titles etc. Anyway, I think some submissions are not being accepted, as some changes come through in a few hours and some have not (afer waiting days). So I switched to email submission and got some rejects back.

Is this the right place to log this issue? Here the rejection email I got from freedb:

Your freedb submission was rejected for the following reason:

Invalid DB submission: unexpected end on line 60

Please fix the problem before you resubmit it. Only the first
error in your submission was noted - there may be others. If you
continue to have trouble, it may be due to a bug in your CD
player software. If you suspect this, try acquiring a newer version.
